How to Add a Category to a Menu in WordPress
Categories in WordPress.
Categories are a good way to group similar kinds of posts and help your visitors to easily navigate your site. They are meant to be used more broadly than tags. If you wrote a book review, for example, you can add that review to the category ‘book reviews’ and then tag it with the writer, the title, the kind of literature, etc. Properly categorize all your posts or pages and add them to your menu(s).
